We had so much fun at the Summer Workshop! Students learnt about mime, improvisation, characterisation, vocal projection and devising theare.
Each student had the chance to create their own mimed piece as well as working on scripted scenes and poems, resulting in an informal performance for parents on the final day.
Some of our students had never performed an acting piece for an audience and we were extremely proud of the progress they made during the three days.
We learnt to use our bodies when creating mimed pieces with big, bold gestures.
Well done to everyone who came, we look forward to seeing you at the next DDA event.
